Pricing can seem a bit off with some of their products, came in and bought a foundations booster display box since a lot of cards were interesting to me as a newer MTG player with that set. There was a strange interaction between workers where one thought the price was $150 while the other worker interjected saying the price for them is $175. I unfortunately didn’t check to see what the market price was beforehand and thought the price would be fair given it being a local card shop. Later I checked online and noticed the market price being almost $45 less than what I paid. Not sure if it’s was a mistake, taking advantage of a newer magic player, or just being overpriced but definitely lost myself as a repeat customer. Post-review edit: Moved the review to a 4 star since I can see where the gaming store is coming from their perspective. I think I’ll just stick to new releases and singles for what i buy from D20

Immediately stepping in, I noticed there was a problem. I did get a "hello," so that must be about the bare minimum the management asks for. The guy at the register was busy looking through cards, not even raising his head, asked if I could be helped. I told him I'd like to see what stuff they had on their wall, but after a short time, I noticed they only had one left of what I was looking for. I asked if there would be any restock of the product, and still having his head buried into his cards, proceeded to be rude and explain how stupid my question was. He "explained," how ridiculous it was to ask for a product that is "old and out of print," and will NEVER be restocked anywhere. I left rather insulted about yhe way he answered a question that could have been a simple, "I'll leave a message for my boss someone is looking for it." However, rather than waste my money here, Games By James got what i was looking for with ease. They might be a little more expensive, but at least I can save up points for more stuff later as well as be treated with a small amount of respect. Even Best Buy has been carrying this product off and on, far cheaper than the other two shops. At D20, I have no idea how many employees they have, but it makes no sense to have that many people behind the counter of a business. Back a number of years ago, we had game shops do that, just to have an employee and his friends steal from the business blindly. Management needs to either step in and be an adult with these kids or be an adult with their business.
The hours are a little strange, but other than that, the employees are very friendly and caring. They seem to enjoy their jobs and know their stuff for when it comes to Trading Card games and DND. Very happily enjoyed going there daily for MTG or DND.
