Dreamland Comics

Went over today for the first time to get 2 comics for my teens. Owner said only one of the new comic per customer, I informed it was for my two teens boys. He replied with, “can’t they share” and “well some people come in here and says it’s for the friends and then buys a whole bunch” implying I may be doing the same which I found it to be the most disrespectful and condescending thing to say to a new customer. I’ve gone to Jay’s comic and other places in the community with my boys and have never had this type of disgusting disrespectful experience. First and last time.

This shop is great! The owner is super chill and very accommodating to questions and recommendations. The comic selection is fairly diverse as well and I spent a while leisurely looking through the stock without any pressure as the environment is very welcoming. I will definitely visit again!

Great comic shop. I've popped in here many times over the last several years just to brows and pick up a back issue here and there. Always felt welcomed and didn't feel rushed or watched. More recently, January 2025. I went in with a Marvel Spotlight #5 that I picked up on eBay. The guy at the counter was great. Gave me his opinion on what it would possibly grade for if I sent it for grading. Gave me his opinion on its market value and gave me an offer if I was willing to part with it. I didn't. But it was still great to get haggle free help with no fee or strings attached. Will definitely continue to pop in from time to time to see what my eye catches to add to my collection.
