Expansions Games
Expansions games is the result of a husband (dreamer) and wife (realist) who decided to open a game store (along with 2 kids who also like the idea). Our favorite way to spend time with friends is playing games – the laughter, the memories, the strategy, the friendly competition (and friendly trash talk ) – that’s when we feel the most authentic and free. Our goal is to create a space where everyone feels welcome and comfortable – where we can provide everyone that chance to feel what we feel when we play games. Our small, but vibrant, town has many wonderful local businesses, but nothing quite like this. Whether you’re the person who’s just happy to play or the person who just has to win – game lovers of all levels will feel like they’re in good company.

Expansions Games is slowly turning us into board game people and I don’t know if I should be excited or terrified or both. In all honesty, we’ve made a few purchases here and are beyond happy with all of them. Kara, who often works behind bar at Chapters Books and Coffee, is the owner along with her husband Blake and gives great recommendations for whatever group, specific need, or “vibe” you could ask for. If you want to try something new or are a hardcore table top gamer already Expansions Games has something for you.
