This is one of the best stores in Iowa. They let the players choose what they want to play, know how to keep politics out of business, keep their store clean, and always have my orders ready on Friday when I come in. This is the definition of "build it and they will come". Couldn't ask for a better place to have in my back yard. If you need an escape from the insanity of daily life, come on in and play a game. You'll have plenty of choices.
A gem of a store! Friendly and helpful staff (Moose and Corby are incredible), a lively atmosphere, and well-attended weekly events for MTG and other trading card games. An anchor of nerd culture in the corridor, and I always stop through when I'm in CR.
I recently visited First Turn Games and was genuinely impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating—they made me feel welcome the moment I walked in. I had the chance to chat with fellow hobbyists, made a few new friends, and even took pictures of some beautifully painted models on display.
