Game Grid Saratoga Springs

I have been going to this location since they opened, the owners are super friendly and helped get us to dive into the hobby. I had a less than satisfying experience on Sunday. Very different as opposed to when I normally have interactions at this location. We had 10 cards to sell, along with a bag of bulk to drop off and get counted whenever. We were told it would be a 1-2 day lead time on our 10 cards getting priced out. I was confused as to why it would take 1-2 days when there was no one in the store and I was there ready to sell/purchase. I ended up leaving the cards to get priced out, and submitted an honest review of how our interaction went. Shortly after, the owner Matthew, reached out to my husband apologizing for the less than satisfying experience and offered solutions moving forward on how they can provide better customer service. Matthew gave my husband his personal number and offered to meet him at the store whenever he would like to sell/purchase cards. All in all, this originally started off as a very negative review, dissatisfied in the moment, and frustrated we had such a painfully impressionable interaction on one of the few days we head out for our hobbies. However, after discussing with Matthew, who I genuinely enjoy interacting with, we are able to look back and not allow one negative moment over shine many fantastic experiences.

Pros: A very clean and tidy store. They have a huge play area for tournaments as well as a kitchenette that caters to a clean environment. Pleasant staff that are willing to help look at singles and are very familiar with every product they sell. Prices were on par with similar card stores. Cons: Limited selection of sealed and single card TCGs to pick from. They informed me they have been open since May, so hopefully they can get more inventory, because this store and their staff are amazing

It has been a delight to have Gamer Grid here in Saratoga! Both the owners have been great to talk to and bring a fun atmosphere to the store! My group has been trying moving out game nights to the store and it's been worth it just for the atmosphere. We mostly play Battletech and the owners have been awesome enough to start stocking some of the product for us and others. Recommend 10/10!
