Pat, the owner, rules. He asked what I was trying to find and offered to reach out to a few regulars that may be interested in doing a private sale if they had the model I was interested in and were looking to sell. You can tell he really cares about the hobby space and is just a really nice guy overall. Very personable and super kind.

I’m not from the area, but I stopped by for an impromptu trip and was immediately greeted by Pat, the shop owner while he was hosting a gaming event. I was welcomed like one of his own family, quickly learning stories about his kids and family. My wife and I have been collecting board games over the last 15 years or so and we always like to check out the local game store communities to see what new games are on the horizon. Pat is one of the most impressive store owners and operators I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He made some great recommendations and had an enormous wealth of knowledge about the industry and passion for his community, but so much more important than that, he shared a little bit of his personal love story about his wife, Susan, and her battle with dementia. I won’t divulge the details in this review, but PLEASE stop in to see how incredible this store is, and say hi to Pat. I’m sure you will walk away feeling a personal connection like I did. What a great story and an amazing guy! I will carry the memory of this experience and Pat’s story with me for a long long time. Best wishes Pat, keep doing what you’re doing! P.S. Stock wise it’s definitely your average local game store. However the community around it is the best in the state. Sometimes they open a little late but it’s never more than ten minutes so it’s fine. Really good customer service and support as well. Only wish they’d keep more tyranids in stock lol.
