Games by James

This place has absolutely everything that you could imagine when it comes to board games, card games, you name it, Game by James has it! Picked up a couple of games for a weekend gathering of friends and the staff were extremely kind and helpful, the environment was friendly and inviting, clean and very well stocked, and the variety of games were near overwhelming! We spent literally an hour just walking around and trying to make a decision, lol! If you want a new game for family night, or just a hang out for the weekend event, this place is definitely 💯!

I came in today and my partner bought pokemon cards after seeing there were some(we didn’t expect to see any honestly just were shopping around the mall) and then I looked around for a few at fidgets and then got in line for cards, the person in front of me they had found an ETB for! the cashiers were super happy to help this person and celebrated real collectors and players-heck yeah! that’s what it’s all about. I assumed there was no more ETBs! but wanted to ask anyways, when I asked I got a cold “nope.” and then I asked if I could get boosters and they pointed at my boyfriend and said “for him?” and I said no… I play and collect too… It just wasn’t what I was expecting when the customer in front of me was treated so so well, then it was my turn and I felt like I was in trouble for wanting to buy some pokemon cards-which I have been PLAYING and collecting for over 15 years. i’m autistic and unfortunately this social interaction caused me a melt down right after leaving the shop. and I don’t think i’ll be able to shop here again soon.

Please call on Sundays and Ask Scott how much the event costs and when it starts and if there's still availability. He loves that and always answers the questions really nicely for FaB. Lots of great boardgames and other tabletop gaming stuff there.
