Gear Gaming - Bentonville

Recently shifted cards shops to have one closer since more of the family started getting into games, and I absolutely love this shop! The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about building a welcoming community. The manager, Michael, is incredibly nice and always willing to help, you can tell he really wants everyone to have a great experience. Jose is kind, fun, and always brings great energy to the tables. They also go out of their way to help new players learn the games and make everyone feel comfortable, especially kids who are just starting out. One of the things I really appreciate is how they actively work to prevent scalping and keep products available at fair prices for real fans. we have been coming for MTG and the new Gundam game with our kids who are new to gaming, it’s such a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

They dont like buying cards. Went to Game X Change instead and they helped me look through my cards and price the more valuable ones which i sold to them even though i got way less than i would at Gear. Never recommending this place for selling things probably an ok place to play. This isnt the first time, ive had this happen at the Fayetteville location too and took my business to Bears instead. Hire people who want to do their job instead of just hang out and talk to people. If that guy isnt getting paid (volunteer worker maybe?) then it makes sense why he wouldnt want to help me. Wouldnt even look through my 4 panel mini binder of commander game changers. Their loss i guess

I was very pleased with the customer service. I buy storage units and had some cards to sell they were very helpful. They had me bring them in and looked and then gave me an idea on value and we made a deal on a few cards. After calling around this was the only place that took the time to help. I would definitely recommend coming here first.
