Rocky, the owner, and the other gentleman, who was busy working, are two of the most knowledgeable and friendly people i could meet in my visit to Goldmine Comics and Cards! Thank you again goes to both of them!!! And there is a solid selection of comics and Pokémon cards! God Bless!!!

Rocky (owner) has been around a long time here with Goldmine. I've been coming here since 2000. If I ever have a question regarding comics and trading card games, he will 99% of the time be able to answer it. Very rare for him to not be able to direct you to the answer you need. Shop is small compared to the stores nowadays, but that's fine. More of a welcoming feel to the shop. Prices are great. Rocky wants to make sure your happy with the purchase, and wants your business again some day. I can get a booster box of MTG for example, for usually $15 or so cheaper than Galactic or Legends. I'll always come here, and have started bringing my 5 year old here too.

Goldmine is by far my favorite comic joint in Grand Rapids. The staff is super cool, helpful, and welcoming. They always have great recommendations for new books to check out, and their selection / prices absolutely can't be beat.
