KIND BUSINESS ALERT Legacy Games is truly a rare find. From the moment you walk in, you know you are somewhere unique. Staff is outstanding. Barney was working the day I visited. He couldn't have been more helpful. Even a customer, John, was helping me find games and making suggestions. Great atmosphere. On top of the atmosphere are the great selection and great prices on just about everything in the store. Some items are MSRP, like the Evercade games, but that's still cheaper than what others try and sell them for. This is the largest selection of Evercade games and consoles I've ever seen in a physical store. Stores like Legacy Games, GameChangers in Michigan City, The Item Shop in Bloomington(IL) deserve your patronage because they are small local businesses. Legacy Games is trying to do something very unique in a town where you'd never believe such a "rare gem" existed. Worth the drive, but call ahead and see if they have what you are looking for. If not, Barney or another staff member will probably be able to point you in the right direction. They are that kind of people. Cheers!
Whenever I'm in the area, I always make sure to stop by. This is not only a fun place to shop for retro video games, but also a great place to chat with others who love the hobby too. The people who work here are real gems, they really elevate the simple game store experience into a fun and pleasant one.
I love this store! It's got everything you'd need from retro to new school items! There's even an arcade to play on and a console with Mortal Kombat. The tunes inside are geared for your 80s buffs, offering a wide variety of vibes while you shop! I can't wait to come back!
