Lotus Games

This place a wonderful nerd haven! From 40k to D&D they have it all! Great space to gather and play as well! My group and I are there weekly!

First impression: I came for Thursday Magic: The Gathering commander nights (every week at 6:30pm btw come through) and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff and players. They were all very welcoming to a player like me who is only just coming back to the game after a long time away. Not only were they nice but they actively helped me figure some things out and learn some things too. The store design is awesome, tons of cool stuff everywhere. They seem offer tons of games and services beyond MTG too. I bought two packs on the way out and pulled a Bahamut! I'll be coming back many more times, and you should too! If you or your pod need a third place to come chill and play games, this is the choice.

This place is incredible and the owner Andy really did a great job explaining to me about how Magic: The Gathering sets work. I haven't bought any MTG cards since 1994 so I was really, really out of the loop. The store is new and well organized and offers a great variety of collectible card games, board games and lots more (Warhammer, books, etc.). Definitely happy to have a card shop in town again and Lotus Games is a great addition to Colchester, CT.
