Morgan's Comics

This store was one of the best comic book store experiences I've ever had! Me and some friends came in and were greeted by the friendliest person. The manager Bird was so kind and helpful and she told us the story of their amazing owner. This is definitely the place to go for a great comic book selection and good vibes.

Always friendly and clean and helpful. I used to collect comics. I don't anymore, but I still like to read graphic novels. So for me, it's really important to deal with someone knowledgeable about what's good now, because I've been out of the game for a while. Morgan does that for me. What's good? I asked. She showed me Saga (one of the all time greats, including Watchmen). When I finished that I asked again, What's good? She said, have you looked at Rat Queens? OMG I love this series. There is so much reading material to pick from, and I only have so much time, and Morgan has been spot on, every time. This shop is my first stop for comics in Asheville. Highly recommend to everyone. There is secret parking in the back.

Every time my son and I walk in to Morgan’s Comics, we are greeted by the friendliest owners you can imagine. The store is full of whimsical items: cards, graphic novels, shirts, games, and more. This place is a gem and you get a very fun and personalized experience every time.
