Original 151

The store itself is very nice and well-presented, but it’s clearly a scalper shop. I understand that many of the items are imported, which can justify some markup, but even the items that aren’t imported are still priced at least twice what you’d pay buying directly from the American Pokémon Center. On top of that, the owner proudly displays their “million-dollar collection” in-store; while cool to view, it feels tone-deaf considering much of it was likely funded through inflated pricing.

Although it is called the original 151, they have a good amount of other Pokemon stuff too but I liked that it's focused on the original 151, as I dont even recognize some of them anymore in some stores that sell Pokemon stuff. The store is next to the arcade (that's how I came across it, I noticed there was an opening from inside the arcade that led to the mall and decided to walk into the mall a bit then saw the store). It seems like a good location since a lot of arcade players will probably also like the Pokemon stuff, maybe there's a lot of impulse buys too this way. It's a cool store with everything Pokemon and only Pokemon, good for gifts, collectors, and impulse buys! My favorite item today I saw was the 15'' ditto

Overall, the store was amazing and it was worth the 3 Hour Drive but just beware that if you go on the official Pokémon center store, they have everything for way cheaper. I believe that this store gets most of their stuff from the Pokémon center store….My boyfriend and I bought two plushies. I bought a large Vaporeon plushy for $70 and my boyfriend bought a gigantamax Charizard For $100 but on the Pokémon center site, it is listed for $59 with free shipping. My Vaporeon was listed for $42….Just throwing it out there. It just kind of sucks because we didn’t realize this until after we had gotten in the car and started driving home. I hope other people can read this and learn from our mistake. We will be shopping at the Pokémon center online from now on. But on the side, but they do have a lot of cool items Lots of blind cats boxes also!
