Otherside Games opened in Edwardsville, IL in 2016 by owner Alex Tidball. As a lifelong gamer, his goal was to create a community space where people could gather to play games, buy games, read comics and graphic novels, and enjoy the hobby aspects of many games. Since 2016, the store has been a haven for gamers in the Metro East region and looks forward to continuing to provide game and comic enthusiasts with the newest products on the market and a place gather with others just like them. Otherside Games specializes in tabletop games, role playing games, board games, comics, and card games. We pride ourselves on our intimate product knowledge and ability to help our customers find the games that they’ll enjoy the most. Our staff is always willing to help you learn a new game, too! Absolutely the best! Great selection of miniature figures and War hammer, D and D and magic the gatherings finest. I found out about this place after the guy at heroic adventure in Edwardsville was hella rude to me at March of the machine ..magic the gathering pre release! I'd now devote my time and $$ to this establishment the store was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Plus the items I bought were reasonably priced...Def recommended
Just visited Otherside Games to purchase our starter kit of Magic: The Gathering! Our son and his wife play this and we want to be able to play with them when they visit. We are complete newbies but Alex (the owner) was very patient with us, explaining the basic ins and outs and helping us to choose our cards and pieces. He did not try to up sell us and his pricing was on point with what our kids said they should be. The store is clean, well stocked, and had a nice area for group play with several tables. Definitely recommend and will absolutely return as we build up our MTG set!
