Out on a Whimsey Toys

Such a cute little store, definitely overpriced, but the customer service/hospitality that was given stood out so I would go back.

Out on a Whimsey is by far the BEST toy store that my family and I have ever come across. They have the absolute best selection of anything and everything a child could want. We have been going to the location in Blue Hill but since that closed we drove an extra hour out of our way to go to the Bangor location because that is just how special this place is!

I love the selection at the store, and I see all the reviews about rude owners etc etc, and I've never felt like my daughter couldn't touch things... I see that there are some new associates there and it'd be great to get a gentle suggestion of toys etc sometimes (not like I NEED it, but sometimes buying gifts it's hard to know what's in for that age). The game selection is great here as well! I have found a number of family games here that I couldn't at the other local game store. I would definitely recommend, will absolutely be back.
