Palmetto Cards
The shop had an impressive selection of Pokémon singles and sealed products, which was great to see. Whether you’re a collector or looking for cards to complete your deck, there’s definitely variety here. However, the pricing is something to be aware of. Sealed products, especially Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs), were marked up significantly — around 2.4 times the MSRP and even about 120% above current online market value. While it’s understandable for local shops to have some markup, the premium here was noticeably high. Overall, it’s a solid spot for availability, but not the best option if you’re price-conscious.

Customer Reviews
Shopping with Palmetto Cards has consistently been a positive and respectful experience. I especially love how Palmetto Cards makes every effort to create an inclusive environment for children and others with different needs. Palmetto Cards does not rush young adults during the card trade and review process while often taking these moments to be teachable. I find these interactions incredibly refreshing as many card shops normally rush or treat younger adults dismissively. Prices for some items may be higher than other shops at times; however, the quality of service received makes a difference. Thank you Palmetto Cards for the services your business provides and kindness shown to your younger customers!
The new shop is amazing with plenty of options and space to view items, rip packs or thumb through the value boxes. The staff is very knowledgeable, answers questions and always welcoming! A great place to hang out, meet others and talk about the hobby we all enjoy. Great job guys!
I called store 3 times during week to explain inventory i wanted to sell and PSA graded cards. Made my expectations clear. PSA - $3,994, PSA’s Buyback offer is even Higher (4K plus) because they are desirable cards such as. Was willing to go for 75% - 80% of average of Both. Was told I had to come in even though registered PSA cards. Took a day off work and drove 3 hours to get offered $800 for everything. I understand and respect store policies. I actually followed your own guidance — I came prepared with pricing based on PSA, Card Ladder, and eBay comps, added about $20 to account for negotiation, and expected a fair 75–80% buyback range. I even called ahead to confirm what types of cards your store targets and mentioned that my numbers weren’t firm, that I was open to your professional input. I completely understand that not every card fits your local market, but being offered roughly 20% of transparent PSA buyback and comp values — especially after a 3-hour trip — felt disrespectful. I recognize the response here was written for positive optics, and that’s fine, but my review was meant to help other collectors manage expectations before making the same trip. If the store genuinely wants to improve customer service and communication, I’d still be open to a professional conversation about what transpired.
