Petrie's Family Games

My family and I were looking for a new board game and visited this local business. The selection was fantastic with a.great selection from a variety of genres. The staff (Matt) was super helpful. We asked for recommendations and he asked excellent questions to find out what might be a good fit. Prices were competitive and always much better to support a local business instead of a box realtor or Amazon. We will definitely be back.

This is the best gaming store in Colorado Springs, and quite frankly it’s in the top 1% of gaming stores in the nation. The staff enjoys being there, and it shows. Everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable. The locals that frequent the events each week are nice and encouraging. It’s not like the stores that have hyper competitive events full of jerks, every one here is chill and fun-focused. There is a healthy supply of magic singles, and they have virtually any board game or deck for any card game you may be after. If you’re passing through the springs and looking for a game store, don’t sleep on Petrie’s! I highly recommend this place!

If you look in the dictionary on the definition of what a Mom & Pop shop is, then you'll likely find Petrie's Game shop 🤣. Seriously, this shop is AWESOME 💯. It's small, but cozy. It doesn't have that crowded feeling and there is a huge open game room next door that you can go play for fun or come on their even nights. Tons of games to choose from, ranging from puzzles, family games, complex games, table top gaming, figures and lots of different trading card games. I work next door and even though I'm not a huge card game guy or board games, I still love coming over to look and sometimes dabble in something new. Plus the staff is super friendly. 10 / 10 recommend that you at least come to this shop at least once!
