Great Comics, Terrible Vibe This shop is so close to being a gem. The inventory is genuinely fantastic. They have an impressive selection with plenty of variant covers that would make any collector happy. On paper, it's everything you'd want from a local comic book store. Unfortunately, the stellar collection is completely overshadowed by the consistently cold and unwelcoming customer service. I have been in twice and dealt with the same individual behind the counter and both times I was met with a dry, dismissive attitude that made me feel like my presence was an annoyance. For a local business, especially one in a quieter shopping plaza, you'd expect a more welcoming atmosphere. It’s a shame to feel like an inconvenience just for wanting to browse and buy something. After reading other reviews, it's clear my experience isn't an isolated incident. It's sad that the closest comic shop to me is one I can no longer support, but I made my last purchase here today. If you can tolerate being treated like a nuisance, the selection is great. Otherwise, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

I recently started getting back into collecting comics. Went into Richie's a few times over the past few weeks, & found everything I was looking for. Even found some other cool issues while digging (there's a lot to go through). Everyone is super friendly, & very accommodating. I can't recommend his store enough!!
