Rude Staff and Illogical Limits Ruined a Family Shopping Trip My family and I visited Second Floor Gaming specifically to purchase Pokémon booster packs. We are a family of collectors—myself, my wife, and our daughter—and we look forward to opening packs together. We understood there was a two-pack limit per person, and we intended to purchase six packs total (two for each of us). The transaction quickly turned sour. After my daughter asked for her two packs, my wife politely attempted to purchase two more on her behalf. We were met with an incredibly rude and dismissive attitude from the woman behind the counter, who snapped, "No, you can get two." This response was bafflingly rude and demonstrated a complete lack of common sense or customer service. If the store enforces a "two-pack limit per person," then my wife, myself, and our daughter are clearly three separate people entitled to two packs each. There was no need for the staff member to treat a paying customer—or a child—with such hostility. We left with only 2 packs for my daughter and 2 for my husband and an extremely poor impression. It’s a shame when a hobby store fails so completely on the customer service front. We will not be returning, and we advise other family collectors to shop elsewhere if they expect basic respect.

Second floor games is by far one of the best, if not THE best card shop I’ve been to in a long time. Me, My son and my friends have been coming here for a few months now and the store owners Lynn and Dave have been nothing but the best! They gone above and beyond on establishing an amazing community, supplying us with some of the best product prices around, and still managing to welcome new players into the constantly growing community! You’re really not gonna find the level of commitment anywhere else. Lynn and Dave you guys are amazing people and I can’t wait to see this Game Store you guys brought up continue to prosper! Thanks for everything you both do!

Second Floor Gaming is hands down one of the best trading card shops I’ve ever been to. Their selection is incredible—whether you’re into Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball Super, One Piece, Weiss Schwarz, Hololive, Star Wars or even the new Gundam TCG which is now a favorite of mine. The store is small but organized, which makes it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. Husband-and-wife owners and staff are super knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to answer questions or give recommendations. You can tell they genuinely care about the community and the games they sell when they ask you to return anytime and tell them what you think. The atmosphere is welcoming too—it’s not just a shop, it feels like a hub for collectors and players. It’s even in the old location of the TILT arcade at the mall I used to work at. Their discord has announcements for weekly locals competition, tournaments and even pre-orders before the big box stores receive them.
