Summit TCG

The store itself looked nice. The selection was great. However, the owners seemed to focus more on their regulars than new customers. As we walked in, we had no idea who was in charge or how the store operated. The owner came to us later and informed us of how it worked. We were able to check out binders and the card walls. The pricing out process was long. It took a long time to have our stacks priced out. As we were waiting for the prices of the cards, a tournament was starting. The owner left us and began to have conversations with the regulars and then diverted her attention to the tournament. We were waiting for 20 minutes to be charged and head our way. However, the tournament took priority. We waited and realized we were not going to be checked out. As we went to the owner, we were told to wait even more time since the tournament took priority. We decided to leave because at that point we felt it was not worth it. We were also informed the prices were based by market, primarely tcg player. However, when we got the list of prices, we were confused on what the prices were based on. They were all higher than the listed prices on tcg player.

I was greeted like a regular the moment I walked into Summit TCG! Mitchell and Marco are the nicest people with vast knowledge of everything Pokémon. Tournament nights are every Thursday and Sunday. They have some super rare TCG goodies and 3D printing capabilities too! Amazing vibes all around, I'm so glad Summit is bringing some much needed games and TCG fun to the Torrance area.
