Came in to check out the store with my fiancé and ended up having a great conversation with the owner and grabbing a magic commander deck that was a great price the store has a large selection of comics and dnd items as well!!!
I visited The Book and Board this past Friday and again today for the Final Fantasy prerelease, and I couldn't be more pleased. The staff at the counter were incredibly kind and welcoming on both occasions, truly passionate and attentive, which made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, perfect for both seasoned players and newcomers. It’s clear this place is built by and for a community that loves games, stories, and great company. I’ll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a space that balances professionalism with warmth and fun
Stopped in yesterday because my youngest was hanging with friends and I had a couple of hours to kill. I cannot recommend Book and Board enough. Friendly folks (who even politely listened to some old guy (me) reminisce about the good ol' days of comics). Got a terrific deal on a newer book I had been looking for for some time. The only bad thing I have to say about them is their choice of location so far from my home. I will most definitely return whenever I happen to be up that way, and you should too.
