I have never left this place empty-handed! The books are affordable and the people working have always been very kind. I adore this place so much that I now volunteer here on the weekends and it's always such a blast!! I cannot recommend this place enough!
I came across a set of bookends and asked the owner working the front if they were for sale, he said everything was for sale. So I brought them to the front so he could shoot me a price. Instead he spent about 10 mins scrolling ebay and resale pages and marked them $20 EACH, not sold as a pair but separately. I took a picture and found them on ebay for $25(pair). Sold section was anywhere between $17.99 and $30. I told him that and he was firm at $20 each. He clearly picked the highest price they were listed for, if not the price between high and low and ran with it. Completely unprofessional in my opinion. I wont be returning.
Very nice book shop. I found some manga I had been looking for at a great price and even a new card game to play. Books were well organized and easy to look through.
