I was really excited to get my first labubu and I grabbed one that was on the shelf. The employee told me that those were fakes and the real ones were behind the counter. She told me they were $59 (which these are $27.99 on the original Pop Mart website but are always sold out). We walked out, and she pulled us to the side to tell us that just for us she can make a deal. She pulled up that normally they sell for $88 but she can give it to me for $45. Me, trusting her kindness and being excited, I decided to go with it. After I got home, I realized the “labubu” looked strange and after doing more research, it is a fake. I am really disappointed as I had been saving to buy one and feel deceived and lied to. I have autism and I feel the taken advantage of. I asked her multiple times if it was real and she said yes.
