I've lived out of state for a while and I was excited when I found out this place was still around. Definitely a different vibe. Kinda bummed me out. I was greeted when I walked in but that was the only person who seemed to be in the store & I couldn't find them when I had a question. I finally figured out they didn't have what I was looking for so I left. When I was leaving I noticed the person was back so I said goodbye. Wild West Comics and Games is your one stop shop for role playing game books, board games, miniatures, paint, comics, graphic novels and much more. I was impressed by the selection of miniatures for sale. When purchasing some miniatures, such as elven ranger or human barbarian, you actually receive two per package. There was a huge selection of dragons, monsters like displacer beast and beholder, as well as miniatures to add flare to your campaign like wizard's study items and even magic dias. As I said, the selection is huge so what ever you need in your D&D collection you could surely find here. I asked an associate about game nights and was told that they would begin again soon and possibly play D&D 4th edition. I asked about Magic and was told that they would not be hosting that any time soon. All-in-all, I enjoyed my firsr visit here. I can definitely see myself coming back to make a purchase. I would suggest making a trip to Wild West Comics and Games to anyone I know that is looking for a comics and games store!

I give 4 stars because I did not buy anything. Today was window shopping only. It was also my first visit to this store. I was impressed by the selection. I suspect this will probably become my main gaming store. The atmosphere was very comfortable. There were some games happening on the table side. The prices all looked standard. I am not a comic book person, but the selection looked pretty decent. I was a bit surprised at the lack of playing mats. I only saw a couple of Star Wars themed mats. I will update if this was a one time affair, but if that is my biggest complaint then all is good.
