Zion Rock & Gem

TOURISTS BEWARE. We are local & my husband brought me home a fossil & it was a painted rock. 40 dollars for a painted rock. I’m a collector, he’s not. I called them & they said they don’t usually do refunds, but they would give me store credit. Why would I want to buy rocks from a shop selling painted rocks? They did not disclose that it was a fake. Chrysanthemum stone for those who are curious. My guess is they’re relying on tourists to not have much “rock” knowledge. Embarrassing & weird.

Amazing shop, with great variety of fossils, stones and local rocks and minerals. Fantastic as a gift for friends and family. The young lady who served us was very informative and friendly.

Visiting from Texas, we found this charming shop right across from where we were staying. We had the chance to meet the shop owner and he was so friendly and welcoming. We are excited to share our purchases with friends and family back home. I know they will appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of these treasures.
