Definitely stop in, can't recommend enough. A fun and welcoming place for card game players - whether new or experienced. Play, rip, or hang out for a bit. And if card games aren't your thing, he's got sports cards too. Prices are incredibly reasonable and CJ is an amazingly warm and welcoming shop owner. Happy to see such a great spot in Harwinton.
We are so lucky to have this card show locally. Fair prices, great selection, and wonderful people! The shop has a great selection of a variety of trading cards. Tons of sets and singles available. My young sons are obsessed with Pokemon and love going through the bins of cards to find ones for their binders. Mike is also always able to quickly get us THE card they want even if it’s not in the store at the time. Highly recommend stopping by if you looking for a good card store!
Absolutely. Predatory behavior when selling any kind of products to them. I was offered between three and seven dollars per pack for my 200 packs of various pokemon Sleeves and card blister pack with promo card today . I literally have thousands of dollars worth of the stuff in storage. And my son is now onto something else and have literally been chasing these cards for the last fourteen years. Anyways, over the christmas holiday, I came and had so much stuff, and they were very predatory about the way that they made an offer to me. They probably got three thousand dollars worth of stuff for a few hundred dollars. Today I went in there with probably a thousand dollars worth of stuff, The girl behind the counter was going to give me $2 per pack, Plus between three and seven dollars for each blister. I leave and I come back and they've literally changed their price 21 dollar per pack, so he offered me two hundred dollars for over a thousand dollars worth of stuff.... I will absolutely never freaking product to this store again. And I will be reporting them to the local distributor because what they did today was absolutely predatory. They thought I was desperate and would take it. And I'm not desperate. I'm just tired of paying storage fees for stuff. That's just no longer used by my child. I literally told the girl I would be right back and I was going to wait. Go eat really quick and while she priced everything up I would come back to get paid, And I came back and one of the so called managers were there, and he's the one that actually changed the price. So I made a deal with a girl. I go to Eva while she counts up. How much they're going to pay me? And I come back and all of a sudden, I have exactly two hundred cards and he'll give me two hundred dollars for all of them. I'm going to add exactly what I had, so you can see what they were. Offering two hundred dollars for.

First impression: I came for Thursday Magic: The Gathering commander nights (every week at 6:30pm btw come through) and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff and players. They were all very welcoming to a player like me who is only just coming back to the game after a long time away. Not only were they nice but they actively helped me figure some things out and learn some things too. The store design is awesome, tons of cool stuff everywhere. They seem offer tons of games and services beyond MTG too. I bought two packs on the way out and pulled a Bahamut! I'll be coming back many more times, and you should too! If you or your pod need a third place to come chill and play games, this is the choice.
Run, don’t walk to this local business. Hands down the best graphic novel store I’ve ever been to…and I travel all over the country. Incredible selection, extremely well organized, and helpful, friendly staff. I gave myself a $100 budget and an hour, and would have easily spent my life savings and the entire day there had I not exercised some self control. I can’t speak to their comics (floppies) or cards as I really only buy omnibuses/collections, but I overheard an explanation of the layout of both items and it seemed as legit and organized as the graphic novels. Huge manga selection as well.
