An absolute gem of a local card/game shop! Excellent selection of singles and sealed products. Also features a large comfy gaming cafe area with PC setups for rent. Fantastic staff and community as well! Great spot, worth the visit or being a regular.
Among the local card stores, Prowess has the best selection and always has product of some kind in stock, whether it is new sets or legacy. Pricing is generally better than other stores I've been to in my area and the owner and staff are very friendly.
This used to be my favorite shop in town, and I’ve spent hundreds—if not thousands—of dollars here over the years. I’ve been collecting cards for decades, and I really wanted to keep supporting PunkOuter. Unfortunately, the changes they’ve made have alienated customers in several major ways. New location - While the move sounded like a good idea at first, the space is actually smaller and overcrowded. It’s hard to walk between tables, and the lack of space makes it nearly impossible for anyone with a wheelchair, service animal, or mobility aid to move around comfortably. As someone who uses a medical device, I feel completely unwelcome in a space that I can’t even navigate safely. On top of that, the complaints about cannabis smells (which are from a legal medicine in Florida) ring hollow when the same regulars show up reeking of body odor and sour milk. In a cramped space, unpleasant smells are only amplified. Pricing practices - This isn’t a retail store—it’s a “market value” store. Instead of selling at retail, they regularly price products at whatever the secondary market dictates. That might be defensible if the product wasn’t available elsewhere, but when you can buy the same sealed product at retail in other local shops, it feels exploitative. If I wanted to pay inflated market prices, I wouldn’t bother shopping here. Staff changes - What really sealed my decision to stop shopping here is the treatment of staff. The employees who made the store a friendly, welcoming environment—the very people who built community and made customers want to come back—were let go. Without them, the shop feels transactional and cold. Overall, PunkOuter went from being a place I loved to a place I no longer feel comfortable supporting. Between accessibility issues, questionable pricing, and losing the people who gave the shop its heart, this is no longer the welcoming community space it once was. ***This review requires absolutely no response from the owner. Pretty great place. Ppl are friendly. They have THE best selection of paints, magnets, basing accessories I've ever seen in a game store. Every time I come up this way I re up my magnet stock and always end up finding something else cool for basing/models. They have a good card selection for all the major games. They have other games. They also have great accessories for card games. They have a large play area. I do wish they had a public restroom. I dropped a few hundred dollars and spent over an hour there and my kid and I had to drive across the street to go take a leak. Otherwise the place was great.

Being fourteen year old kids spending $200 on a model kit was a tough ask to our parents. There was a great deal of effort put into being a fan of anime and model kits which our parents had trouble understanding. It was only in adulthood when learning about business at the University of Miami, did we find out how much easier it could be for young fans to get involved. The stores we visited as kids took advantage of our fandom and charged us double or triple the value of the price the items should be. This outrage led us to realize we had to open our own store. It was at this point that Teg grabbed the biggest anime / Warhammer / Magic the Gathering / Dungeons & Dragons / Gundam colleague he could find by offering them the ability to build and play Warhammer every day for the rest of their life as a potential job. Luckily, Stephen posted a silly Warhammer 40K meme.

There’s a reason the store holds a perfect score of five stars. This store is one of the most welcome in places for TCG table top board games board games. This place is awesome. The staff is very friendly very welcoming. You can walk in the store and not have a single clue just an idea of what you want to play and the staff will go out of their way to talk to you. Educate you on what it is. They’re always letting you know that they have different game nights for different games even with the board games if you don’t want to purchase it, you can rent it there for a couple hours for a few bucks. This place is by far one of the most comfortable places to go game deck bill because you’re always welcome. You can escape all the trolls in aggressive nature that comes along with the TCG world. You have a great choice of singles for certain games they for the most part are well stocked for all your needs. I could not recommend A better place for a good time, casually non-aggressive. I love the guys and girls at this location.
