Sage Explorers opened on September 2, 2017. Our goal is to provide high-quality, award winning toys and games for infants, toddlers and children of all ages. We have demos of almost all our games, so feel free to come in and play! We also have a wide variety of puzzles and craft kits to keep hands (and heads) busy! In addition, we have a full service Learning Center that offers tutoring services for students in kindergarten through high school. We also run a variety of classes throughout the year. I've had great experiences going to this store, from laughs to being taught the game and interactions of certain cards in Magic: The Gathering. The owner of the store is a great person who is patient and knows a plentiful amount about card games, and a significant amount about Magic: The Gathering. If your looking for a hobby store or gifts for kids, it definitely is an outstanding place to check and even hang around. The atmosphere is very friendly and can't recommend it more!!
While their inventory is kinda small, it’s very welcoming, clean, and friendly, my experience with trading there has been fantastic, and the owners are extremely helpful. They even recently started selling Yu-Gi-Oh!! singles recently. The tournament environment is respectful and casual. Been there a few times. 10/10 from me. I just wish they had a broader selection and maybe some Dungeons and Dragons stuff. As a DM I would love to run games there and buy supplies somewhere local.
Spellbound Games is an awesome local game store! I went to the Final Fantasy Magic the Gathering prerelease and will definitely be going back. The space is great, the prices were very reasonable, the prizes were clearly communicated up front, and Marco was helpful and personable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to play Magic!
