Alpha Comics and Games
Alpha Comics and Games is a trading card shop in Richmond, VA. They offer trading card games and hobby supplies. Players can order online.
Collector's Heaven
THE place to go in RVA for YuGiOh and harder to find TCGs and old school collectibles. Other shops really prioritize pokemon and MTG but if you actually wanna play your card game or don't wanna be condescended to for not playing the "smarter" games, go here!! I travel from the East End to come here just because it's that unbearable to go to any other shop for the game I wanna play.
Graybo's Sports Cards
Graybo's is the best card shop in the USA. Every time I've had good customer service, and the employees are a joy to be around. They treat you like family more than a customer. Selling cards is more than easy. They show you how they comp and don't pressure you into selling your cards. With single cards to sealed hobby boxes this is the place to open a pack. Trade Night once a month is definitely an amazing experience. Definitely stop by Parlay at Graybo's for professional sports games and a place to eat. This is a once in a lifetime experience. This is my favorite local card shop, and my favorite card shop.
One Eyed Jacques
One Eyed Jacques is a board game store in the heart of Richmond, VA. We specialize in Magic The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, board games, card games, puzzles, and more!
Paper Tiger
Decent selection if you're into Pokemon or MTG, not much of anything else though. Staff seemed like they did not like me even walking in the store though, stared repeatedly without saying anything and when I did ask for something they answered but showed little care when I asked for a product that they have only a small display for. I don't care that they didn't have what I was looking for, the impression sucked becos we use local game stores for community and a chance to socialize which this shop clearly didn't want from the community if you aren't playing Magic or Pokemon or, what felt most obvious anyway, you look different than a card shop frequenter I guess?
Third Eye Comics
Third Eye Comics, Games and Hobbies is the DMV's premiere stores for comics, graphic novels, toys and games in MD, VA, and DC
