For anyone wanting to visit KCM: Where do I even begin? I came back to collecting pokemon about 8 months ago. I had never traded/gone to a collectible exchange. One of my first times at Ninja, I met Kris and his father Benji. Two of the most wonderful people that Ive ever had the pleasure to meet. They made me feel so welcomed into the community and helped me with one of my very first trades! The atmosphere is friendly and you can always hear laughter from their booth! Im so happy to say Im now friends with them and always look forward to visiting on weekends! Quick and quality service with good conversation on top! Cant get any better than that! Family run establishment, you can tell their love for pokemon immediately as it radiates off their smiles! Amazing cards/collectibles with great deals and fair pricing! Safe to say they are one of my top 3 must visit booths at Ninja Exchange! Swing by if youre new to Pokemon or looking for good trades! Kris, Benji and Family! A great comic store and an impressive game store too. They have all the things that makes a comic store good. Lots of new releases on the shelf in case you missed something in your subscription or are just a casual reader. They have a good sized back issue stock for diggers, and best of all they have dollar books! The game selection was amazing, lots of minis and paints too. Friendly chat with the owner, Brooks while I was there. He told me about game nights and regular sales at the store which indicated he was building a community with the shop not just hustling product. He even gave a drink away to one of his regulars when I was there. Kind of jealous I don't live here so it could be my local shop. Most deserved 5 star review I've given.

Ken’s Comic – Great Local Spot for Collectors and Gamers Ken’s Comic was pretty well-organized and had a solid setup. They had a wide variety of comics and a great selection of card games like Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball, and more. There’s a small snack area, kind of like a concession stand, which is a nice touch if you’re hanging out for a while. It also looks like they host tournaments and game nights, which makes it a cool community spot for both casual players and more serious fans. Overall, a fun stop if you’re into comics, trading cards, or just want to explore a friendly local shop!
Fairly new place or new to me at least. Stopped in for first time this week after following them on Facebook. They have done a great job with online presence to get my attention. I've seen some live box breaks and decided to make my way in to the store. Most card shops ive been to over the years can be cluttered and unorganized, this place is the opposite. It is a very cool environment on the inside. Plenty of wax to open if that's your thing but I was having so much fun just looking at the singles they had in the display cases. I ended up dropping more than I want to admit bc the selection was that good. I can't wait to see what else this place has to offer and its truly a refreshing vibe there, enough so to ignite a hobby enthusiast in all of us.
My best friend and I took a Saturday road trip to Lexington and made it a point to stop in at the Roadshow. We drove a shade over 2 hours for the trip and, honestly? I’d have driven triple that. The staff was great. Friendly, helpful, and just all around good people. The ability to search the inventory for specific things using the in-store iPads was a tremendous addition to the usual card shop experience and I’m surprised more stores don’t do it. If you’re a fan of Kentucky Wildcat sports? This place should absolutely be at the top of your “To Visit” list. And then there’s the name sake of the store; Jim. As I have gotten back into the sports card game over the last year and change to help my son grow his collection I have run across some sketchy dudes who are only in it for the money and whatnot. Jim is most definitely NOT one of those people. One of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting...his love of the hobby and sports in general is genuine and infectious. I cannot recommend this shop strongly enough. Can NOT wait until I get the chance to go back...and next time I’m taking my son because it’s the perfect place to show kids new to the hobby that this is how you run a shop!
