My usual local tcgs was closing soon so i came here looking for a couple singles i need for a blue eyes deck I'm building, wasn't expecting to find them here and i didn't. however that is not why I'm leaving a review. My first impression walking through the door wasn't a very favorable one. When i asked where i could find singles, the worker looked up from his phone and asked what kind, i answered yugioh, he pointed towards 3 stacks of like 7 binders each and went right back to his phone. oh well, lets start digging. to my demise, there was no organization aside from the binders being labeled monsters, spells, fusions, xyz, and some other names. It didn't make it any better that the place gave off a literal dog shit smell which i tried and failed my best to ignore for the half hour i was there. Worker gave me the typical weird yugioh player from high school vibe, don't mind it, just not my kind of background noise while i sift through 20 different disorganized binders in a small and cramped room that smells like literal dog shit. anyways, im willing to come back in case my local tcgs is closed but i cant promise a third time if things stay the same. Ive got a lot of money to invest in this game, be a shame if me and others chose a different alternative store to go to over such easily fixable things. if anyone needs a commendations for a different store, id recommend driving just a little longer to Common Ground Games. friendly staff, organized, has the stuff you need, and better yet it smells like any regular retail store. (Plus one start bc osmosis jones was playing on screen, thats it)

This store offers a variety of different products from TCGs, geeky merchandise, board games, and snacks! I really like their large touch screen to check their inventory on singles especially for Lorcana as not many stores have singles and it's much easier to find that digging through a binder or box. However, since lots of people use it since it is the only one, there can be a wait. We have bought from them several times and never had a bad experience. The staff here are friendly and informative. The space is organized and well kept, as well as a handful of regulars or TCG players at tables playing. They keep prices pretty fair even on some rarer cards and it's nice to support local stores rather than dealing with the hassle of online card shopping. They also have better stock than other card shops as my boyfriend was looking for specific TCGs and no one else had them until we stopped by here!

4 Stars because the employees and owner were extremely kind. Not 5 stars because of the clientele. Never have I been to a completely full shop on a Friday and not 1 single female was there. None of the guys would speak to me directly other than 2 word answers or look me in the eye and the two guys next to me started making slighted comments towards me indirectly about my card selection and a few other things. I felt so uncomfortable i left before we even really started playing. (I went there for draft) The shop itself was cool. But it makes me question what time of a shop are you running that on a busy evening that you have cultivated a culture that just men attend your shop. The shop owner was wonderful and kind. This experience is why women dont get involved with mtg or other "male" oriented hobbies. Very disappointing as I was just visiting LA and that was my experience with mtg players in LA. So ladies beware!

Just the kinda place to release your inner nerd. Love the fact that there is still a brick-and-mortar place to celebrate board and card games, staff is cool, the regular guests are friendly to newcomers, and reignited my love for MTG. Cool place!. Also, shoutout to whoever drives the decked out car with the big Zero-Two livery on the sides. You have good taste lol.

Grab your dice, unroll your playmat, and deploy your army because you have arrived at The Nexus Game Lounge. Finding community in the hobbies that we love is our sole purpose. We are the place where games are played, memories are made, and friendships are formed. Want to take part in something greater? D&D, Warhammer 40K, Pathfinder, Magic The Gathering, Lorcana, Pokemon, Battletech - We play them all!

If you are really into pokemon cards, this is the place to go to. They have an amazing selection of cards, from expensive art rares to bulk. They also have a selection of hot wheels, funko pops, figurines, and other nerd items. The employees are generally friendly, sometimes hard to talk to, but still very knowledgeable and helpful. Me and my boyfriend come here all the time to try to add cards to our collection, and this place changes their stock almost every day, so we often find cards that we're looking for to take home. Too bad they don't have a website to look at their stock unlike some other nerd stores, but still very good. Would recommend visiting here and checking the place out.

Couldn’t be happier with the new renovations, our 4 year old has the absolute best time here. A lot of the complaints stem from the fact that there aren’t as many “nickel games”. But there are quite a few still left along with the newer games, which are far more cost effective compared to other arcades we’ve visited. The space is small enough where you can keep a close eye on the kids and the manager Brad has been kind and helpful every time we’ve visited.
