Friendly shopkeepers, strong board game and card selection, nice open seating area and friendly clientele. Came in during a trip and played a fun game of commander. Bought some stuff to support the store. Would visit again whenever I'm in town!

Excellent place for hobbyists. They have a den for card games and table top RPGs. Will return if in the area!

This is a rare place, a real third place - a community hub. I was traveling in San Diego and looking for a place to hang out around people. Inside I saw a Magic game going on with friends, people walking in and out who knew each other, regulars having interesting conversations with the owner about books and history. I bought something to support them because hell yeah we need this kind of thing in society where there aren't enough places to meet people and socialize, or just hang out in a friendly environment.
