TC's Rockets - Comics & Toys

I went to sell graded Pokemon cards worth a total of $180. (Checked TCG, PSA, and Ebay for the most recently sold prices.) The gentleman and I started talking and before even looking up prices he tells me he'll pay me $80! ( I was going to ask between $120 - $130 so they could easily make $50 -$60 off of them.) I've be going to TC's since they were a tiny shop in La Mesa and loved supporting them. Not worth supporting a store that insults a customers intelligence.

Had a great time at this store. Kids loved it. Staff was super helpful. So many amazing things, from comics, toys, and cards a bit of everything for everyone. So grateful to meet Brad, he is super friendly and gave my shy son knuckles for saying hi since he recognized him from some YouTube videos. Def will be back next time we are in SD.

Amazing selection, especially for Star wars, gi joe, ninja turtles, and motu. Some really good condition old Battlestar Galactica stuff in there. There's a little bit of everything, but some really shine. If you appreciate vintage action figures, this is like a museum where you can buy stuff. Newer merchandise is fair priced as well, something you don't always find. So sure, you might be able to get that black series star wars figure for cheaper somewhere, but you might need to hit up seven different stores, and the savings you made was wasted on gas. This place just HAS it already. I cannot suggest this place highly enough. The majority of photos on here do not do this place justice, and next time I go, I intend to take more photos.
