Seems I've had similar experiences to a lot of other people. Been to the shop a couple times, months apart and inventory looked exact same, just with more clutter. My first visit wasn't abnormal or bad, just isn't a very talkative guy I guess. However went back to see about selling most of my collection which ill admit is majority cheap dollar cards, with a few outliers being worth well more than $20 in current market, if i had to guess you could easily get $150+, i started at $75 as to not sell my self short, and his only and final counter offer was $25, when i started packing up he didn't seem to interested in me even being in the shop anymore.

Love going to this card shop best prices in all of Utah. The owner is a cool guy.

Owner is extremely knowledgeable about the players and the hobby. He is also blunt with you, which-based off some of the other reviews-a few deem as rude. Based off my own experiences, he's just trying to let you know the reality of trying to sell/buy things, but he doesn't soften the blow. The store is A LOT bigger now that he bought the adjacent property, and that's definitely helped with person traffic and air flow and breathing room. He has grab bags he assembles for the kids and donates some cards to worthy organizations. He and I chat all the time, and I've never found him rude or abrasive, just knowledgeable and sharing that knowledge with you in the best way he knows how to put it. My first experiences with this card shop were twenty years ago and I only recently started going back, and I'm glad he's still in business. He gives you a fair price and the tax is factored into the price. So you may see a box priced a little higher at his shop, but since the tax is factored in, it's usually the same price if not cheaper than other places. Awesome guy, awesome store.
