They say they’re proud to be the Tri-States best comic shop since the 80s. What a joke. I would give them 0 stars if I could considering I’ve never had the chance to go inside the store. The place is never “Open”. They still require masks. Doors are always locked even if an employee is inside. Phone is never answered. I left a message as I was only looking for 2 books. I really wanted this to be the new spot to pick up comics considering Purple Earth (The Best Comic Store I’ve Ever Been To) has closed and it was right down the street. A missed opportunity on this stores part. Don’t waste your time coming here. Especially if you’re from out of town. Just go to the Inner Geek. Way better experience.
Drove about an hour to get here when they "opened". The woman met us at the door stating she requires masks. We drove a few minutes away to get masks and returned. Upon returning we stood at the door for quite a few minutes since it was locked, waiting for the door to be unlocked. Tried calling and had no answer. We'll be going down the street to look at comics in a shop that actually wants business.
I haven’t been inside this place since I was a teen. Used to be my dad’s go to shop, but for years both mine and his calls to try and get comics have been completely ignored and the doors are always locked. The last time I really tried to visit, I had my mask, the list of comics my dad wanted, and could see someone inside. Called multiple times and watched the person inside ignore those calls. It’s sad, I remember liking the place.
