The Dork Shop
Our main goal is to provide the wargaming community with access to miniatures not found in a typical gaming store. In addition, we love interacting with customers with questions about products and painting advice. The Dork Shop was founded because of the owner’s love for history and passion for painting. We specialize in selling the best historical and fantasy miniatures you may not find in a regular gaming store. We aim to make wargaming miniatures accessible to the wargaming community. We love to interact with the gaming community and answer their questions about the range of products we sell, as well as painting advice. Creating miniature armies takes a lot of work. We understand the love our customers have for painting so we also aim to help them obtain paints and other supplies they need to paint their own miniature figurines. We strive to be great miniature painters and have extensive knowledge about the products we sell. We are a nationwide service, so if you are located outside the D/FW Metroplex, you can still buy our exciting range of products from our online shop. A very very new warhammer fan here and I stopped at this shop based off of the reviews and was not disappointed! The staff helped me understand the tools and materials needed to get started and were even kind enough to show me their own tools that they use on a daily basis. They are truly passionate about war gaming and I admire that very much! I’m happy I started my own journey through this shop and I will be back soon!
This is THE place to go in Mansfield for Warhammer and their historical section is second-to-none in DFW. If you want Victrix or Bolt Action or Dead Man's Hand they have you taken care of. They offer a solid discount on GW products, great service. They have a sale section as well and deals on their website. Nice to buy from some actual local hobby nerds looking to support their families instead of a corporate shop. Long time customer!
These guys are the only historical business in town, maybe even in Texas. I saw the biggest wall of Victrix, Perry, and Warlord across all eras of history as soon as I walked in. Talked with the owners, couldn’t be nicer or more friendly. They want to expand one day and get a place with table room. They’ll order stuff in for you and ship as well.
