Shortly upon walking in, if not immediately, you’ll be welcomed. This sounds simple enough, but is something that other card shops in the area could learn from. The owner is always kind and approachable, while their collection and inventory is top notch regardless of your niche. Worth the drive.

When I think of “Friendly Local Game Store,”I think of Clairemont Comics. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable, the pricing is fair, and they always have space for pick-up games of BattleTech. The clientele are also excellent folks: welcoming, happy to teach and learn games, and bring a great attitude. I’m so thankful to have such a great local store/community!
